Is this course right for you?

You know the content. Now turn it into marks.

The Year 13 Advantage helps students understand what examiners reward and use their Business knowledge more effectively in 10, 12 and 20 mark answers.

  • You’re studying one of the two qualifications

  • You want to turn knowledge into marks

  • You want clearer answer structures

  • You want to improve application, analysis and evaluation

  • You would value specific feedback before mock exams begin

This is an exam-skills programme rather than a complete revision course covering every Year 12 and Year 13 topic.

What students will learn

How students will improve their exam answers

Across three live sessions, students learn how to turn their Business knowledge into answers examiners can reward.

AO4Evaluation
  1. Recognise what examiners reward in AO1, AO2, AO3 and AO4.
  2. Write 4- and 8-mark answers, develop 10- and 12-mark responses, and plan a 20-mark answer.
  3. Use case-study evidence to build stronger analysis and make better-supported judgements.
  4. Use feedback on one exam response to identify three clear priorities for improvement.

Questions and examples will be adapted for Pearson Edexcel A Level and International A Level Business students.
